Canoeing Schedule
- Morning Shift: 6:30 AM – 8:00 AM
- Evening Shift: 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM
Early mornings and late afternoons are the best times for bird watching and spotting animals along the riverbanks.
Pickup and Drop-off
We offer pickup and drop-off from your hotel or community lodge around Amaltari. Canoeing begins from designated river entry points, and guests are transported back comfortably after the ride.
Route and Highlights
The canoe ride generally follows a calm stretch of the Narayani or Rapti rivers depending on water levels. Key highlights include:
- Rapti River Shoreline: Frequent sightings of crocodiles and bird flocks.
- Narayani Sandbanks: Ideal location for spotting marsh muggers and gharials.

Guidelines to Follow
